Meta has recently announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming is finally coming to Meta Quest later this year.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced today that Microsoft’s Cloud Gaming service will be on its headsets this December 2023. The first announcement was last October 2022 during the 2022 Meta Connect keynote, where it announced that Xbox Cloud Gaming would be introduced into Meta Quest headsets and that included Meta Quest 3.
This cloud gaming service was released in 2019 before it fully launched the following year. It is available for users who are currently subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Meta, however, has not shared any details on how this integration would work, which includes info about Meta Quest owners will have to subscribe to the service or not. There is also no info if the cloud gaming subscription service can be purchasable on the Meta Quest Store.
Xbox Cloud Gaming is now available on mobile devices, tablets, Smart TVs, and Xbox consoles.
