Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League Season 2 has gotten some traction once more as the release of Mrs. Freeze has changed quite a bit of the game’s standings. With new skills and powerful weapons being unlocked, players are getting to know the lore more within the multiverse of the Arkham series. On the official Discord server of the game, the developers announced a new mid-season update for the game that will feature more content, new weapons, and more.
Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League Season 2, Episode 4: Winter is the next update to be released soon. With new Incursions and a new variation of the Brainiac boss fight, fans will be challenged once more. The evolution of the arsenal in the game continues to grow as Captain Cold’s Infamous cyclotron-powered arsenal. To add to that, a plethora of new Notorious gear will be at hand to help put your enemies on ice. If things start getting too cold for you, you can always turn up the heat with some new additions from Heat Wave’s toolbox.
Plus, new locations and missions have been added to the Elseworlds. Players will be heading over to the icy ruins of the Hob’s Bay docks, the frozen remains of the Zeppo Sky Tours building, and the carcass of a destroyed Terraformer. Completing these locations and missions will help players unlock awesome and epic gears that can be considered game changers.
Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League Episode 4 Infamy Sets
As announced, there will be new infamy sets added to the game and it will feature one of Flash’s greatest enemies, Captain Cold. For those who don’t know who he is, he is a criminal with a brilliant mind for creating freeze-tech weapons. Due to being born from an abusive father, he became cold to the touch and vows to accomplish his goals with a set of rules.
Captain Cold’s Infamy Set will reflect both his knowledge of sub-zero tech and his flexible morals. With a variety of ways to boost the power of your Deep Freeze Afflictions, it makes for a devastating support build, freezing enemies in place and allowing you and your team to quickly shatter them.
Notorious Items
In the new season mid-season update, there will be a ton of new weapons to be unlocked. Below are some examples of weapons that can be found and are considered to be eye-catching:
- Heat Wave’s Scorcher
- This weapon sets enemies on fire when countering them with the Regular Fire, but it’s the Alt-Fire that sets this synergy ablaze. It fires a scorching bullet that does a blistering 1500% increased damage to Frozen enemies and Burns them.
- Icicle’s Piercing Shards
- This weapon shoots piercing shards that have a chance to Freeze enemies, and damage done with the firearm also damages other Frozen enemies nearby.
- Trickster’s Frozen Hand
- By building up enough stacks of Frozen Finger you will unleash ‘Frozen Hand’, and with this hand, you can beat the crap out of Brainiac’s army, thanks to massively boosted melee damage!
New Costumes
New costumes can purchased in-game at the store feature once Episode 4 launches. The costume set is known as Cryogel Outfits as Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, King Shark and Mrs. Freeze will transform due to the effects of Freeze’s Cryogel and will have you flying through the Elseworlds looking super cool.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Season 2, Episode 4: Winter will be available for free on August 27, 2024, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam).
