Sony Interactive Entertainment is commemorating the 30th anniversary of the original PlayStation with a limited-edition collection of hardware and accessories. The collection features a nostalgic design inspired by the original PlayStation’s gray color scheme, applied to the latest PS5 consoles, controllers, and peripherals.
The centerpiece is the PlayStation 5 Pro Console 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle, limited to 12,300 units worldwide. Each bundle includes a uniquely numbered PS5 Pro console, a DualSense wireless controller, a DualSense Edge wireless controller, a DualSense charging station, a console cover, and a collection of commemorative items.
A PlayStation 5 Digital Edition bundle, standalone DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers, and a PlayStation Portal Remote Player will also be available in the limited edition design.
The collection celebrates three decades of PlayStation’s evolution, from its early days to the current generation. Sony emphasized its commitment to continued innovation, ensuring PlayStation remains a leading platform for gaming experiences.
Pre-orders for select items begin on September 26, 2024, via direct.playstation.com in supported regions. Additional retailers will open pre-orders on October 10th. The collection officially launches on November 21, 2024.
