    SEGA Showcases Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii in RGG Direct

    SEGA has dropped new details for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii with a dedicated RGG Like a Dragon Direct. Set to launch on February 21, 2025, for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, the game is shaping up to be a swashbuckling adventure.

    The RGG Direct provided a deep dive into the game’s features, showcasing everything from dynamic combat styles to ship customization and explosive naval battles. Viewers got a glimpse of the Majima’s Mad Dog and Sea Dog dynamic combat, promising diverse combat encounters.

    The Direct also highlighted the Goromaru. Players will have extensive options for ship customization, allowing them to personalize their seafaring flagship. Naval combat was a key focus, with demonstrations of maneuvering to avoid enemy cannon fire and engaging in intense deck battles. The Pirates’ Coliseum was also showcased, hinting at a dedicated arena for pirate showdowns.

    In addition to the gameplay reveals, SEGA announced that New Game+ will be available via a free post-launch update. This will allow players to carry over some of their items and progress from their first playthrough into a new game, offering increased replayability for those eager to continue their pirate saga.

    Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii launches on February 21, 2025, for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
