Following its appearance at the latest Sony State of Play broadcast, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is set to launch on PlayStation Plus. The game, highlighted during the PlayStation program showcasing upcoming releases and announcements, will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members via the game catalog upon release. PlayStation Plus members will also benefit from a 10% launch discount on the game until March 4, 2025. Exclusive content was previewed during the State of Play event, ahead of the game’s Tape 1 release on February 18, 2025.
In related news, developer DON’T NOD has announced a partnership with Kid Katana to release the official Lost Records: Bloom & Rage soundtrack on vinyl. Pre-orders for the vinyl edition are open starting today on Kid Katana’s website.
The double vinyl soundtrack will be available in two distinct colors, transparent pink for Bloom and transparent blue for Rage, and includes a punk-style poster. The 18-track OST features a blend of dream pop and ambient music, headlined by the punk song See You in Hell. The soundtrack showcases collaborations with three female-led musical acts: Ruth Radelet, former lead singer of Chromatics, alongside Nat Walker and Adam Miller; Montréal electropop duo Milk & Bone; and rising Montréal alt-country band Nora Kelly Band.
For digital music enthusiasts, the Lost Records: Bloom & Rage OST will also be available for purchase on Steam at launch for €9.99/$9.99. Mirroring the game’s episodic structure, the second half of the soundtrack will be released as a free update alongside Tape 2. A bundle including both the game and the OST will be offered, providing a combined 20% discount, composed of a 10% launch discount (until March 4) and an additional 10% bundle discount.
To further immerse players in the musical world of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, five curated playlists inspired by the game’s characters are now available. These playlists, accessible at bento.me/bloom-rage, are designed to reflect the personalities and musical tastes of each protagonist, as well as the fictional band Bloom & Rage itself. Listeners can explore a diverse range of genres, blending 90s classics with contemporary tracks, including movie soundtracks, dream pop, video game music, goth rock, punk, and grunge.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is launching PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5, with Tape 1: Bloom on February 18, 2025, and Tape 2: Rage on April 15, 2025.
