Star Wars Zero Company Launches August 27, Brings Turn-Based Tactics to the Clone Wars

Electronic Arts and developer Bit Reactor have announced that Star Wars Zero Company will launch on August 27, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The single-player turn-based tactics game received a new gameplay trailer during Summer Game Fest 2026, offering a closer look at its tactical combat, original story, and customizable squad of operatives.

Set during the Clone Wars, Star Wars Zero Company follows former Galactic Republic officer Hawks, who now leads a covert team known as Zero Company. Operating in the shadows of the conflict, the group is tasked with tracking down Kundri Fathom, leader of the Separatist-aligned cult known as the Infinite Coil.

The squad features a diverse cast of characters from across the galaxy, including Clone Troopers, Mandalorians, Jedi, and other specialists. According to developer Bit Reactor, players will recruit and develop operators while managing their base of operations, The Den, upgrading facilities, acquiring equipment, and selecting missions across a dynamic galactic map.

On the battlefield, Star Wars Zero Company combines turn-based tactical gameplay with cinematic presentation. Players can strengthen relationships between squad members to unlock support abilities and combat bonuses, while mission choices and deployment decisions will influence how the campaign unfolds.

Customization is a major component of the experience. Hawks and recruited operators can be created from eight Star Wars species, including Human, Twi’lek, Togruta, Zabrak, and Weequay. Players can customize appearances, voices, talents, and specializations to build a squad tailored to their preferred playstyle.

The game’s galaxy map spans more than 150 planets, offering a wide range of missions and strategic decisions throughout the campaign.

Pre-orders are now available across all platforms. The Standard Edition is priced at $49.99 on PC and $59.99 on consoles, while the Deluxe Edition includes additional cosmetic content inspired by the Clone Wars era. Players who pre-order either edition will receive the Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack.

Star Wars Zero Company launches on August 27, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
