Game creator Yu Suzuki recently gave a statement talking about the most-awaited video game sequel Shenmue III.

Suzuki gave thanks to all of those who gave support to the game and who endured the wait after several delays. He gave his heartfelt message of gratitude for the fans that brought this project to life.

Soon, we can put Shenmue III in your hands. Thank you for your enduring support these 18 years since Shenmue II. A game like Shenmue is something one person cannot make on their own. Every day, I shared laughter and tears with the Shenmue III team. I hope from the bottom of my heart that Shenmue III becomes special for you.
One last thing, please. If you have fun playing Shenmue III, please introduce Shenmue to someone new! It would make me happy if even one more person somewhere in the world finds out what makes Shenmue, Shenmue.
The game will launch on PlayStation 4 and PC. It will be released on Nov. 19.
