Game developer Infinity Ward recently announced that there will be a limited feature this weekend for popular first person shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare double XP event
Since the biggest update drop will be coming next week, Infinity Ward is helping its playerbase to earn more XP this coming weekend. There will be double XP to earn starting this Saturday and will end on Dec. 2, right before the launch of Season One.
This is the perfect time for players who have fallen behind with progression or just want an extra boost for their ranking.

At the start of Season 1, those who have made it into the Officer Ranks (Rank 56+) will have their Officer Rank refreshed, beginning a new journey up the Season 1 Officer Progression track (from Rank 56 to 155). Players will find another 100 ribbons to earn through a new set of challenges, leading up to a new and distinct animated emblem.
The game is already available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
