    Anti-Virus Game – System Recovery

Takka Takka Software are excited to announce the BETA release of their first video game, System Recovery – A computer virus themed top-down view arcade shooter for Windows.

Viruses are the plague of today’s computer-driven world, so much that many would rather hide behind protective software than tackle the problem at its roots. Takka Takka Software is here to provide the opportunity to take the fight back to these cybernetic evildoers.

How does it all work? – one might ask. The answer is simple: Taking control of the fabled “Virus Exterminating Drone” (or VED), the user is capable of doing all manner of unspeakable things to the malicious pests of cyberspace. Via two different game modes the player can choose between procedurally generated missions to found and expand their anti-virus organization, or take on the feared DDOS missions, attempting various challenges that would bring even the most seasoned anti-virus veteran out of their comfort zone.

System Recovery had recently made its appearance on Steam Greenlight ( http://bit.ly/1BvuWy0 ) and is offering a free DEMO with the option to support development through purchase of the BETA on itch.io ( http://bit.ly/1eALqLa ).
System Requirements include a Windows OS supporting Java version 7 or later, a 2.4 ghz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM (3GB recommended) and a graphics card with at least 256MB VRAM, supporting OpenGL 2.0 or better.

Takka Takka Software is an independent game studio from Hungary ran by developer Daniel Karsai. System Recovery’s music is composed by Kevin MacLeod.
