Game developer Counterplay Games recently revealed more details of the upcoming first PlayStation 5 video game Godfall.
Godfall new details revealed
Counterplay Games revealed this new information on the Official PlayStation Magazine, which featured more details on gameplay and world building. The gameplay is similar to popular online multiplayer action adventure video game Monster Hunter World with inspiration from Dark Souls.
The game features a drop-in/drop-out gameplay like MHW, which will allow players to fight against a lot of deadly giants to stop the world from getting destroyed. The mechanics is similar to Dark Souls, which players would need the right timing to attack enemies until they defeat them.
The character they control will learn different combat skills and customization options, which will be based on the class they choose. Players will have to prepare because they will have to fight against multiple enemies at once.
Story description
Players will be controlling character, which is a member of the last remaining Knight’s Order. They will have to go through different realms divided into elements like Air, Fire, Spirit, and Earth to stop the apocalypse.
The game will launch this coming holidays 2020 for PlayStation 5 and PC. It will be published by Gearbox. The PC version will be an Epic Games Store exclusive.
