Dead Island 2 Seems to be Not “Dead” Yet

A recent comment by game publisher Deep Silver might have hinted that supposed-to-be cancelled game sequel Dead Island 2 is still in the works.

While Deep Silver was promoting Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell for Xbox Games with Gold, a fan asked if Dead Island 2 was still alive. He was teased by others and some even told him that it is already dead. “It’s not coming. Just move on to Dying Light lol”

This is where Deep Silver seemingly confirmed that there is still hope. “We wouldn’t be so sure about that!” said the publisher.

With that reply, it just means the game is still in development. This also means that it is in development hell and it is taking far too long to make. Well, as long as they are confirming that it is still in the works, then we can all hope it will launch sometime in the future. Hopefully not that long.
