Game company Blizzard is warning fans that there are fake alpha contests and giveaways for upcoming video game remaster Diablo 2: Resurrected.
Blizzard Community Development Lead Adam Fletcher took to his personal Twitter account to warn the fans of these scams. He says that these are scams that offer alpha tests to unsuspecting players who want to try it out. According to the post, he revealed there are several websites doing this, but the truth is the only one offering the real two alpha tests is the official Diablo 2 website.
Fletcher is hoping that the fans will not fall for these scams and just go visit the official website for the chance to get in the alpha tests. He also shows a screenshot where he got banned from a certain subreddit after he called it a scam.
Diablo 2: Resurrected will launch on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC within this year.
