At launch, SIE is planning to add titles like Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11, and Returnal. Note that these titles will only be available on Extra and Premium tiers. They are also working together with their developers from PlayStation Studios and third-party partners to include some of the best games they have with a library that will be regularly refreshed. This means some titles will come and go, just like Xbox Game Pass but this will include first-party titles as well and not just third-party ones unlike Xbox Game Pass. Well, unless SIE clarifies on this.
PS Now subscribers on the new PS Plus subscription service will transition to it without any increase on their current fees. They will migrate to PS Plus Premium right away.
The all-new PS Plus subscription service will first launch in several markets in Asia, then by North America, Europe, and the rest of the world. They are planning to have this new subscription service available for all by the end of the first half of 2022. They are also planning to expand their cloud streaming benefit to additional markets with more details at a later time.
Do note that the PS1, PS2, and PSP offered in Premium tier can be played via cloud streaming or download. PS3 games will be available via cloud streaming only.
The all-new PlayStation Plus subscription service will be available on June 2022.
