Sony Interactive Entertainment will be revealing the new free PS4 and PS5 games soon, but here are the PS Plus May 2022 predictions that might be added to the library.
Just like clockwork, SIE will be revealing the new free games to add and download for PS Plus subscription this coming April 27, 2022. Unless there is an event that will change the traditional schedule, subscribers will be waiting for the reveal. Also, the games will be available to download less than a week later as well.
SIE has not given any hints on which titles will be given away, so fans are already busy predicting which titles will be added to the list of free games. Here are our predictions and a little explanation for each.
PS Plus May 2022 Predictions
- Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (PS4/PS5)
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure (PS4/PS5)
- Marvel’s Avengers (PS4/PS5) or Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 (PS4, PS5)
Since May is May the Fourth Be with You month, it would only make sense SIE would be giving away a Star Wars game and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the best game to celebrate. Unless SIE will follow some weird tradition of theirs that will make them give away a Star Wars game in June instead of May, then it is most likely to be this game next month.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a PlayStation exclusive game and SIE usually gives away titles exclusive to the platform. It would be nice for SIE to give away this game, after all it had a successful launch in 2020.
Marvel’s Avengers is in dire need of a boost for a new audience, so the PS Plus subscription is the best way to go. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 also fits the bill since SIE once gave away a Call of Duty game before. It would be a good boost for the upcoming sequel that is getting teased recently.
