Blueberry Quests, or BBQs, are challenges that have been introduced in The Indigo Disk DLC of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. These quests offer different kinds of tasks and activities that players can do in order to gain Blueberry Points. Read ahead as we talk more about the Blueberry Quests and why it is important to do them in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

    Unlocking the Blueberry Quests

Blueberry Quests will be available after getting into the Blueberry Academy and registering to their League Club. You will start getting random Blueberry Quests which you can start doing right away. To view active Blueberry quests, press the right D-pad and it will open up the quest sidebar.

    How Blueberry Quests work

Blueberry Quests will automatically be active and don’t need to be accepted manually. There can be three quests active at a time, plus a special quest if you manage to meet its requirements. A regular quest can be swapped into a random regular quest at the cost of 10 BP. Once a regular quest has been completed, it will simply be replaced by a new one.

Upon completing 10 regular quests, you will be given a special red quest with a bit more challenging task. Completing this quest will reward 130-200 BP. Red quests can also be skipped and swapped for 50 BP.

Blueberry Quests are also available while playing in multiplayer mode via the Union Circle, although the tasks on each quest will be more group oriented and each player within the play session must contribute to it. These quests also reward higher amounts of BP per completion.

Additionally, playing in the Union Mode allows you and your friends to complete each others’ quests, making it potentially faster for you to grind for BP with a full party.

Special red quests can also be obtained while playing in the Union Circle, and completing three red quests in the Union Circle will unlock a special gold quest. These quests pay out 300-600 BP per completion.

    Usages for Blueberry Points

Blueberry Point or BP is a special currency that is used for several things within the Blueberry Academy. It can be used on the Support Board to unlock effects, throwing styles, special camera features, and other in-game features like the Item Printer. The most important ones on the board are the biodiversity boosts for each of the four biomes in the terrarium as these will make the starters from the previous games spawn within them.

Another important usage for BP is the legendary snacks that can lure out the legendary Pokémon out in the wild. These snacks can be purchased from Snacksworth using BP, and once obtained, they have to be brought to a certain location where the corresponding legendary Pokémon can be found; Snacksworth will also provide clues for their locations.
