In Apex Legends Gaiden Event, players will have the opportunity to unlock a variety of anime-inspired character designs, as well as matching weapon cosmetics, frames, and of course, a lot of challenges to complete.

The Apex Legends Gaiden event will feature 40 anime-inspired cosmetics. A variety of Legends can expect to acquire legendary skins from One Piece, Naruto, My Hero Academia, and Dragon Ball. As well as skins for the Flatline, Wingman, EVA-8, and Charge Rifle that match their respective themes.

Bangalore “Apex Commander” Prestige skin
Bangalore’s Apex Commander, the newest Prestige skin, can be unlocked by collecting all 40 event cosmetics. This skin is based on the original Titanfall Pilot uniform.
Bangalore’s Prestige skin has 3 distinct tiers that may be unlocked by completing certain challenges; the skin’s appearance is altered with each successive tier that is unlocked. Even after the end of the event, players can continue to complete these challenges, provided that they are still available. Additionally, it comes with an all-new finisher attack known as Close Quarters Combat.
How to Unlock Gaiden Thematic Event Skins?
In the same manner that an Heirloom can be unlocked as part of a Collection event, players can collect all 40 of the event’s cosmetics in various ways:
- Players who are truly eager on getting their hands on the iconic anime-inspired skins will have to purchase Gaiden Event Packs, which guarantee one event item rather than a duplicate.
- Players who complete the second challenge reward track between July 26 and August 2 will be able to obtain Gaiden Event Packs as well. The pack will be rewarded when it reaches a score of 3000 points or more.
- Additionally, the in-game store offers exclusive bundles, such as the “Marked Man Bundle,” which includes 10 Gaiden Event Packs and the My Hero Academia-inspired “Mirage Deku” skin. A total of 4000 Apex Coins, or about $40 USD, will be required to purchase it throughout the two-week event.
- Apex Coins can be used to buy Gaiden items, but crafting metals can be used to craft them as well. EA did not disclose how much each of these will cost though.
This year’s Gaiden event will begin on July 19th, 2022, and end on August 2nd, 2022, at 6PM BST / 1PM ET.
