Game company Respawn Entertainment has recently released a new patch for popular battle royale Apex Legends today.

According to a new post by the official Twitter account of Respawn Entertainment, a new patch is now available for download. The patch notes are only small, but it does reveal what the important details are.

We're rolling out a new @playapex patch now that:

    🙅‍♀️Re-enables leaver penalties for Arenas
🗣️Fixes some voice chat issues on Switch
❤️Grants all players the aforementioned #Pride badge!

Leaver penalties may take some time (up to 24 hours) to fully activate. Play on, Legends!

The post revealed that the new patch will re-enable the leaver penalties for Arenas, which is quite helpful, it fixes some voice chat issues on Switch, and grants all players the Pride badge.

The developers did emphasize that the leaver penalties might take some time to fully activate and they estimate it to take up to 24 hours.

In celebration of Pride Month, we’ve granted all @playapex players a special Pride badge. Pride is the opposite of shame: It's about being proud of who you are. We stand with and support players of all sexualities and gender identities. #PRIDE pic.twitter.com/NfsgY6dZEi
