Respawn Entertainment has recently shared a new Apex Legends Stories from the Outlands Family Business.
Apex Legends Stories from the Outlands Family Business Ajay Origins
The Family Business video features one of the beloved Legends in the game, Ajay Che and with a special appearance of her good friend, Octane! In it, it was revealed that Ajay is actually a family member of the Che family, a family of war profiteers. She runs away and becomes a member of the Frontier Corps where she helps those in need and also finds her love of her life.
Ajay Joins Frontier Corps
In one of those big encounters during the war, her lover gets injured badly and the only way to help him was one of the chemical medicines made by CHEYREX, a company of her family. She gets to help him and decides to do a heist to get more medicine from one of the CHEYREX factories. Ajay calls Octane, in his full human form and still as restless as ever.
Robbing the Family
Together, the two storm into the factory and begin robbing it blind. They almost got caught but they got away barely. This also showed how Octane got injured in the leg and might be the reason why he opted to go mechanical.
All’s Well That End’s Well But…
Ajay and Octane arrive in the small clinic where all of the injured rest and start to distribute the medicine, but unfortunately they got tailed. Her mother arrives with her confidant and starts to search the premises. Ajay gives herself up to let everyone go, but her mother does not want loose ends. They almost bite the dust, but they have an ace up their sleeves: broadcast their current situation to the world. Her mother leaves together with the rest of the scary guys.
Joining the Apex Games
Ajay tries to comfort her lover but it seems he has some hatred for the Che family and was shunned, just like that. After a few days, everyone gets better, but they might need more medicine afterwards. Octane asks on what she would do and she sees the Apex Games advert. The two of them join the games in order to win money to buy medicine.
Apex Legends is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
