Are you wondering about those distinctive trees you’ve come across on your map named Bellsprig in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora? These trees are not just part of the stunning scenery, but they’re key to increasing your character’s health as you step into the world of Pandora.
What is a Bellsprig?
The Bellsprig is a plant that you’ll find all over Pandora in the game. It looks a bit like the foxglove flowers we have on Earth. The Bellsprig is a perennially flowering plant that grows in many of Pandora’s varied biomes. A mature plant has a short, treelike stem is crowned with an abundance of hanging, bioluminescent flowers that release a steady stream of spores onto the breeze.
Where can you find it?
You can find Bellsprig plants in places where it’s a bit dark but still gets some light, like in caves. They have a short stem and lots of glowing flowers that look amazing at night. You can easily find them in the game scattered throughout the map just like the ones I have encircled below. If you hover your cursor on those plants, it will say “Bellsprig”.
Why is it important?
Touching a Bellsprig will permanently increase your health points by 3 everytime you touch one. In the game, your overall health is determined by several factors such as bonuses from your gear, buffs, and even your Ikran, but the base health is determined by the skill upgrades to your health and the number of Bellsprig plants you’ve touched.
As you play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, keep an eye out for Bellsprig, especially in cave areas where light comes in. When you interact with these plants, their released spores add to your overall health, giving you an edge in survival and combat. This makes seeking out Bellsprigs a beneficial strategy for any player. The spores that these trees release carry the essence of vitality. To the Na’vi, inhaling them is akin to tasting the freshness of the morning and the richness of the soil. They’re known to fortify the spirit, offering a burst of rejuvenation that can be crucial as you navigate the challenges of Pandora.
