Objectives:
Find Eetu, the Aranahe hunter
You’ll need to find Eetu, who is at the Hunter’s Rest camp southwest of the Hometree. Once you reach the camp, look for Eetu at ground level near his ikran.
Talk to Eetu, and he will acknowledge that you want to learn more about hunting. But first, he wants to test your aim by doing some target practice.
Hit the target’s weak point at Hunter’s Rest camp
First, you will need to equip the Heavy Bow given to you by Eetu. In case your weapon slots are all used up, you can temporarily switch one of them for the Heavy Bow.
With the Heavy Bow at hand, aim at the sturmbeest target nearby and hit the mark.
Talk to Eetu, the Aranahe hunter, at Hunter’s Rest camp
After successfully hitting the target, talk to Eetu once again, and he will talk to you about giving thanks for every time you take a life as part of the Na’vi tradition of hunting. Eetu will then tell you to go meet up with Nefika once more after hunting down a sturmbeest on your own.
Hunt for sturmbeest
To prepare for hunting down a sturmbeest, head over to your Hunter’s Guide and pin the sturmbeest. This will allow you to see more information about their probable locations, as well as their scent and aura, when using your senses.
Track down a sturmbeest and hunt it down; try to aim for its weak spot to get higher-quality materials. Inspect it to give thanks, and then you will get its heavy hide as well as its fatty meat.
Return to Nefika at Hometree
Head back to the Hearth in Hometree to meet up with Nefika and Relun. After the conversation, you will receive the Simple Wristband recipe.
Follow Nefika down at the Maker’s Den for the next objective.
Craft new gear with sturmbeest hide at Maker’s Den in Hometree
Nefika tells you to craft something that you can show Ka’nat to prove that you still have some Na’vi skills in you.
Use the crafting table and craft yourself a Simple Wristband with the sturmbeest heavy hide you just got.
Talk to Ka’nat, the Aranahe olo’eyktan, in the Council Room at Hometree
Once you have crafted the wristband, head over to the council room to show the wristband to Ka’nat. Go to the Weaver’s Den and take the ramp going up to The Commons. Go past the guards, and you will reach the Council Room.
Talk to Ka’nat to convince him about joining the war against the Sky People as allies. Ka’nat refuses the idea and wants to stay away from being involved in the conflict. After he leaves, Nefika tells you to head to the top of the Hometree instead to meet up with Etuwa.
Meet Etuwa, the Aranahe tsahik, in the Kinglor Nest at the top of Hometree
Go out of the Council Room and take the ramp going up. Head past the Ikran Landing to reach the next ramp leading to the Kinglor Nest.
You will meet Etuwa again, who is tending to the kinglor. She mentions that the kinglor has been driven away from their nests and found shelter at the Hometree, but this in turn weakens the Hometree as it cannot support all of them.
Your conversation is cut short when another Aranahe, Vefilu, reports that Eetu has not come back from his hunt yet. Etuwa wanted to go look for him, but you offered your help instead to let Etuwa stay in the nest.
This concludes the chapter and you earn another Clan Favor for the Aranahe.
