Into the Fog is the twenty-sixth chapter in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The young Sarentu heads out to search the other TAP facility to find out why Nor has some sort of familiarity to it. Read ahead as we go through the events of Into the Fog in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and share some tips on how to complete the chapter.

Objectives:
Find the site where Okul saw the TAP logo
As you get out of the research lab, you’ll call Nor who somehow has seen the TAP Con-1 logo in his dreams, although he could not remember as to how he has seen it before.
The next objective is to look for the place that Okul described where they saw the TAP logo. Head northwest from your current location which is east from the Den of Solitude, then go inside the Crimson Great Wood to arrive at the destination.
The place is covered by a thick layer of yavä’, but thanks to Okul’s antidote, you can freely go in the fog without getting hurt.
Investigate the old RDA crash site
Climb your way up to the highest points and you will eventually find an RDA survival kit.
Inspect the kit to start an investigation. Then, cross the log bridge nearby and inspect the empty cage to link both clues together.
Turn around to find a scrap wall that has the TAP logo on it and then inspect it. Move up ahead to find a black box (orange) and link it to the scrap wall clue.
Afterwards, you’ll piece the clues together that an RDA aircraft carrying a cage crashed on this spot a long time ago.
Hack the black box at the old RDA crash site
Use your SID to hack the black box to get coordinates from it.
Go to the coordinates taken from the old RDA crash site
You call Nor to update him about your discovery. After the call, make your way further up north to reach the area matching the coordinates.
The coordinates will lead you to the abandoned TAP Con-1.
Find a way into TAP Con-1
From the Intake Facility gate, turn right to find another gate that has a clearing on top of it, then jump high to get over the gate.
Continue up ahead where you will find a gate that leads into the facility.
Turn on the facility’s power
The facility hasn’t been in operation, so it’s dark inside. Turn to the left side and you’ll find the terminal behind a mesh wall. Go for the vent instead and crawl through the airshaft to get into the room. Then, hack the terminal to get the power back on.
Explore TAP Con-1
Look for the orange door to get deeper inside the facility. Afterwards, crawl through the broken window. Go through the next two doors up ahead to reach the cages.
Investigate TAP Con-1
Look into the open cage and investigate it. Then, look inside the path to the right and link the cage to the restraints.
Go through the next door and use your SID to locate the cables. Follow the red cable as it goes into the next room. Peek through the broken window to see a panel in the adjacent room, then shoot the panel to break it.
Tune the frequency of the connecting node to open the door.
In the next room, inspect the chest of beddings with Sarentu toys, then go into the next room. Look for the drawings at the wall and link it to the previous clue.
Next, inspect the chest full of Sarentu clothing that you passed by earlier and link it to the canisters nearby.
You’ll then piece together that this was more of a prison where the Sarentu was forcefully kept inside rather than a school like the one you grew up in.
Continue from the bedroom into the next room and look to the right to find a container that has the Withered Sarentu Ankle Guards.
Go further into TAP Con-1
Proceed into the next room and hack into the panel nearby to open the next door.
Find the source of the distorted recording
You’ll hear some corrupted recording sounding off in the facility. Follow the stairs down and look into the chests in the room to find a Guerilla Barrel.
Then, go back to the stairs and head down another level into a corridor. The door to the left is closed, so sabotage the panel beside it.
You’ll arrive at a large lab. Climb up the crates on the left side to reach the catwalk up above, then jump up ahead to reach the observation room.
Hack computer in TAP Con-1 for more information
Hack the computer to access its files. The computer will then show data about Aha’ri, one of their sisters that Mercer killed in the beginning of the story.
Continue to find the source of the distorted recording
Go up the stairs behind you and go through the door to reach the next area. You’ll discover that a Thanator has gotten inside the facility. It hasn’t seen you yet, proceed further into the next rooms.
Once you get into the big room, go inside the smaller room to the left and head inside the vent. You’ll see that the Thanator is also patrolling just nearby. Jump into the water up ahead and go through the next door.
You will come across another bedroom that leads into a corridor. Hack into the door on the other end of the corridor. However, the Thanator will already be waiting on the other side. It will try to get through the door, but it will only cause the door to get jammed instead.
Look towards the floor near the vent on the side to find a junction box that can be rerouted. Reroute it to the next cable, then follow the cable upwards and reroute the next box. Finally, tune the node on top of the door to open the door up.
In the next room, go towards the mushrooms up ahead and climb them to reach a vent. Follow the vent through and you will suddenly fall into the room where the Thanators are staying.
Defeat the feral Thanators
There are two feral Thanators that will be attacking you simultaneously. They are as aggressive as the ones you’ve encountered before, and fighting two of them at the same time will be a challenge. The most effective way of getting rid of them is to just use your shotgun as it is quick and the Thanators will be within the shotgun’s effective range most of the time.
Get into the office
Once the beasts have been dealt with, head towards the office up ahead and take the path on the left to find the stairs leading up. You’ll find a container that has the SE85 Guerilla Fighter inside.
Take the next set of stairs and go past the locked door and around the room to find another door. In this next room, take the path that has the glowing mushrooms and dive into the water, then swim up ahead to reach the next room.
Repair the junction box that you see. Beware as this will make the water electrified. Jump towards the mushrooms to reach the airshaft that leads back to a previous room.
Now you can get back to the locked door and open it up via the node to reach the office.
Hack the computer to play the full recording in TAP Con-1
Check the computer on the lower right side and hack it. This will then play a recording of Alma talking about how the Kame’tire has told them about the Sarentu and that they will meet up with them to find students for TAP.
Escape from TAP Con-1
After the recording, soldiers will then enter the facility after their alarm has been set off. Take the vent on your left side to get down, then you can either engage with them in a fight or sneak through to your left.
Take the lift tool on the left side and follow the path until you reach the next big section. There are more enemies patrolling in this area, so proceed with however you see fit. The outside of the facility will also have patrols.
Go to the Sarentu moot site in the Circle of Songs
Once you’re out of the facility, you will need to get to the Circle of Songs where Alma said they met up with the Sarentu. The location is southwest of your current location. You will have to get there on foot as your ikran cannot fly through the yavä’.
Find out what happened
After reaching the Circle of Songs, look for clues to investigate what happened to the place.
Check the wall on the left side and inspect the Sarentu artifact.
Proceed to the path ahead and follow the vines to find gifts from the Kame’tire on the floor. Among it are unopened vials made by Anufi.
Finally, look for the chests of ammo and guns nearby.
Recollect what happened
Look for another painted wall nearby where you will see a blanket that has the familiar scent of your mother. This will then send you to a flashback as you remember that night when you last saw her.
You are spending the night with your mother as the Sarentu have a celebration in the circle. But then gunshots then ring the air, and your mother covered you in your blanket to keep you safe.
Find Okul in The Hollows
Go back to The Hollows to talk to Okul. Okul will then tell you that Anufi has gone out of her dwelling and connected herself to Eywa ever since you met her. Anufi is trying to recall her memories to figure out why a Sarentu is still alive. You also tell Okul that you have proof that Anufi’s gifts were not the cause of the Sarentu’s demise.
Talk to Anufi at the Circle of Ancestors
You wake up Anufi, but Mokasa comes in to tell her to go back to her dwelling. You then stop them and show Anufi an unopened vial. Okul then grabs the vial and drinks it to show as proof that it is not poison.
Anufi then confronts Mokasa who was the one who condemned her. She demands Mokasa to connect with her to see the truth. After seeing what actually happened, Anufi casts out Mokasa from the clan and she appoints Okul as the new leader of the Kame’tire.
Anufi then makes up her mind and decides that the Kame’tire will join the Resistance. The chapter will then conclude and you will be rewarded with more Clan Favor, 2 skill points, the Mask Maker Waistcloth, and the Songcord Bead – Truth Unveiled.
