Shadows of the Past is the twenty-fourth chapter in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The young Sarentu, with the help of Nor’s suggestion, is now in search of the reclusive Kame’tire clan, who are known to be great healers, to help out all of the wounded Resistance members. Read ahead as we go through the events of Shadows of the Past in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and share some tips on how to complete the chapter.

Objectives:
Find a way inside The Refuge
From The Hollows, fly towards the east near Singer’s Falls, where you will find the way to The Refuge, the place where Anufi has secluded herself.
Once you arrive at The Refuge, you won’t be able to get inside the dwelling yet, so go around the left side and climb up the lift vine to find another entryway. However, you will be stopped by Zamhil, who is the Kame’tire who looks after Anufi.
Zamhil says that Mokasa forbids anyone from seeing their tsahik, but after seeing your mark as a Sarentu, she is convinced that Anufi might change her mind after seeing you. She then lets you figure your way out, as she believes that Anufi also needs help, but she cannot go in due to the barriers that Anufi has set up.
Determine how to open the door at The Refuge
The barriers she speaks of are the gateway lilies that you’ve seen before while in the Ikran rookery. To make the lilies withdraw, you will have to find the smaller lilies that are connected to the big lily via their roots and then touch or shoot them. There are five small lilies to be found, and some of them have rooted a bit farther than the rest.
Once all of the smaller lilies have withdrawn, the bigger lily will also withdraw, opening the way into the dwelling.
Talk with Anufi at The Refuge
Go inside the dwelling and follow the path downward. You can find an Herbalist Cuff inside a container along the way.
You will then meet Anufi, who is terrified upon seeing that you are Sarentu. Through her rambles, she believes that she was the one who caused the death of all the Sarentu through her creation, despite you telling her that it is the Sky People who are at fault. You try to convince Anufi that people are in dire need of her healing, but she still refuses.
Leave The Refuge to call Nor
Head towards the front door of the dwelling and touch the fern door to open a shortcut.
You will then call Nor and tell him about your attempt to convince Anufi. Nor points out that Kame’tire’s refusal to help is so uncharacteristic and that there must be something else going on. You then decide to talk to Zamhil to get some more information.
Talk to Zamhil outside The Refuge
Head over to Zamhil, who is by the cliff. You tell her that Anufi is not willing to help and ask what is going on. Zamhil will also be coy about it and just share that there’s another herbalist named Siul who may be able to offer some help and explanation as to what is going on.
The chapter then concludes, and you are rewarded with some Clan Favor for the Kame’tire, plus a skill point.
