Vehicles are an essential part of the Battlefield 2042 experience. Not all combat is fought on foot. Battlefield has always been a franchise that took pride in its vehicular combat to add to the chaos, and in Battlefield 2042 the vehicles have come back more varied than ever. Here’s the list of all Battlefield 2042 vehicles.
You might recognize some of these vehicles from the previous Battlefield games. They make a return courtesy of Battlefield 2042’s Portal game mode which allows you to create your own custom match. This also means that what vehicles are available for a certain match depend upon what game mode you choose play.
Battlefield 2042 All Vehicles
As mentioned above, quite a bit of vehicles made a return from previous entries of the Battlefield franchise. Playing on All-Out Warfare or Hazard Zone gives you the latest vehicles in the series, even including civilian vehicles you can use to traverse the map in.
However, playing in Portal mode opens up the vehicular roster allowing classic armored vehicles like the much beloved German Tiger tank to make an appearance. Here’s everything you can drive in Battlefield 2042 at the moment.
What vehicle you can drive also depends on the side you’re playing for. Whether you’re US or RU, or Axis or Allies, the vehicles you can find may vary. Unless you’re lucky enough to steal one from the enemy. We listed every Vehicle by their faction and what game they’re from.

Armored vehicles all have a dedicated spawn point nearby your team’s main base. This was unlike before where vehicles spawned on the map from the respawn screen making them a race for points. This does mean that you have to contest with your teammates if you want to be the one behind the wheels.
For the first time in a Battlefield game, you can call-in vehicles anytime. But there are limitations. Your team is only allowed a set group of vehicles at a time so you won’t be able to call-in a vehicle if there’s too many already being used. Not every vehicle can be called in as well, such as helicopters and fighter jets only spawning from your team’s deployment area.
How Do You Use Vehicles in Battlefield 2042?
Using vehicles is simple in Battlefield 2042. You simply have to walk up to an available vehicle and press the apt button to enter. If there’s already a driver, you can enter the passenger seat or man the turret if there is one.
Keep in mind that you can’t interact with vehicles occupied by enemies. This doesn’t mean that you can’t steal an enemy vehicle if they’re not using it though.
Can You Customize Vehicles in Battlefield 2042?
Battlefield 2042 offers customization for most of the vehicles in the game. You can customize certain vehicles equipment, color, and decals. Though how extensive the customization options are depends on what vehicle you’re customizing. Some vehicles don’t have much options for customization such as the UH-60 chopper.
Are There Planes in Battlefield 2042?
There are planes in Battlefield 2042. At this time, there are a total of 10 planes including the ones in Battlefield 2042’s portal mode.
How To Use the Jet
Using a jet can take a bit of a learning curve as they are one of the most challenging vehicles to master in the game. You can find them spawning in your team’s main deployment area.
In Battlefield 2042’s aircraft vehicles, not including the ones in Portal mode, you have the F-35E Panther and SU-57 Felon. These two mostly function the same, except the US’ F-35E features an alternate VTOL flight mode that makes it easier to kill targets on the ground.
How To Call The Ranger “Robot Dog” In Battlefield 2042
You can call in the Ranger “robot dog” by using the Call-In Tablet. The Ranger is considered a drone and you have to be level 5 to unlock it. Once you’ve unlocked the Ranger, you can deploy it anytime in the field.
These are all the vehicles for the time being you can use in Battlefield 2042. If DICE proceeds to update new vehicles into the game, we’ll be sure to update the list. In the meantime, we have other articles related to Battlefield 2042 that you may be interested in. Give them a look.
