Publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer DINOGOD have revealed a new gameplay trailer for Bounty Star and announced a firm release date. The unique 3D action game, which blends customizable mech combat with farming and base-building, will launch on October 23, 2025.
Bounty Star puts players in the role of Clem, a powerful ex-soldier and expert mech pilot haunted by her past. Set in the Red Expanse, a post-post-apocalyptic version of the American Southwest, Clem’s journey is one of atonement as she tries to become a force for good as a bounty hunter.
The gameplay loop is a unique combination of genres. Players will pilot and customize their mech with high-powered melee weapons, hydraulic siege tools, and explosive firearms for intense combat. When not out on a bounty, players will return to their homestead to manage a base, building out water and power supply lines, growing and cooking food, producing their own ammunition, and even raising animals.
Bounty Star will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this October. In a significant announcement for subscribers, Bounty Star will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
