Call Of Duty WWII – Jumping Back To Normandy with Joe Salud | ESGS 2017

We are just a few more days away from the launch of Sledgehammer Games’ latest Call Of Duty installment, Call Of Duty: WWII. Going back to its roots, Sledgehammer had taken its steps in reviving what made Call Of Duty popular, and that means we’re going back to the second World War.

One Squad’s Unforgettable Journey…

Yesterday, Sledgehammer Games’ Art Director, Joe Salud, visited Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) in Manila, Philippines at the SM Mall of Asia SMX Convention Center. Before taking his expertise at the main stage of the event, Salud had a closed media briefing at the Conrad Hotel discussing the importance and the art direction for Call Of Duty: WWII.

The team focused in delivering the most authentic World War II video-game experience. Salud showed a black and white image of a wounded American soldier that portrays an emotionally dark yet visually beautiful scene.

Salud is confident that he and his team is going to deliver one of the best World War II cinematic first-person shooter experiences this year.

Call Of Duty: WWII will have tons of modes to offer when it comes out including War and Headquarters. Players will have the chance to show-off their skills in the Firing Range; the players can also go head-to-head with another player in the 1v1 Pit.

Furthermore, we were able to score an interview with Joe Salud at ESGS 2017 and will be published sometime after the event.

Nazi Zombies Are Back… And They’re Deadlier Than Ever.

Zombies have always been part of the Call Of Duty formula, and going back to the World War II setting means that players will be facing the infamous and deadly Army of the Dead. Salud said that they have researched heavily about the German mythology and lore as they plan to bring back Nazi Zombies in a terrifying direction.

It’s going to be an exciting week after ESGS 2017. With Call Of Duty: WWII’s launch nearing, we’re getting more excited to get our hands on the full game.

Call Of Duty: WWII releases this November 3 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

And if you’re going to ESGS 2017 at SM Mall of Asia SMX Convention Center, head over to the PlayStation booth to play the multiplayer mode with other players!
