Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Logo Revealed

Activision and Infinity Ward have finally revealed the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 logo.

With the big reveal of the new logo for Call of Duty MW2, it is now confirmed this will be Call of Duty 2022. This will be the sequel to the popular reboot Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 with Captain Price as one of the protagonists. Fans of the original Modern Warfare games would be overjoyed to this new development, but they must have already seen this happening a mile away as many leaks have been shared online recently.

While this will definitely be called Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, the logo has “MW II” in it instead of the original “MW 2”. This time it is Roman numerals, which could be to differentiate between the original sequel and the new reboot.

Surprisingly, the big reveal of the next Call of Duty game is quite early compared to previous titles like Call of Duty Vanguard. Usually it would be by the end of summer for Activision to announce the new game. Perhaps it is due to the poor response from the recent CoD game that Activision had to push up the schedule for a big announcement.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is now in development. No other details yet have been announced.
