How to Solve the Clock Tower Puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy

In Hogwarts Legacy, players will see the Clock Tower as a part of Hogwarts Castle. Inside that area, there is a door that seems impossible to unlock without solving some puzzles. Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to solve the Clock Tower Puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy.

Where to Find the Clock Tower in Hogwarts Legacy

To find the clock tower, players will need to be in Hogwarts Castle and travel to the south wing of it. Upon arriving at the tower, a pendulum will be swinging. On the far left, there is a door with iron bars and a sign on it. Once it is approached, the bars will begin to open and then swiftly shut. There will be 4 doors in that area that will do the same thing, and to solve them, players will need to do some puzzles within the tower.

How to Unlock the Shutting doors in the Clock Tower

To solve the shutting doors, players must first complete the 1st set of Madam Kagawa’s assignments. Once completed, players can start solving the mysterious doors.

Observe the sign on the door and the clock pendulum. Players will see 4 different signs. They will also need to note that when the pendulum reaches the sign that corresponds to the door they are attempting to open, use the Glacius spell rapidly to freeze it in place. Once that happens, the bars will be removed and players will be able to open the door and collect some loot.

After opening the 1st door, return to the courtyard of the clock tower, and there will be 2 closed doors on the left. Unlock the one on the left, then climb the stairs and exit through the first doorway. Go all the way to the right, where the next barred door awaits, and freeze the clock pendulum at the symbol’s place.

Once it is frozen, return to the door and collect the rewards. Make yourself invisible using the Disillusionment spell before entering the chamber since the chest inside is the one with the eye.

Head straight to the stairs and go to the next floor, where there is another barred chamber. Same as the last one, the door of this one has a different sign, so freeze the pendulum in place again and open the door to collect the rewards.

The last door is halfway up the stairs as it is easy to open. In the same process, as usual, players must freeze the pendulum after exiting the staircase. Afterward, return to the unlocked door and collect the last reward.
