Control Ultimate Edition New Gen Enhancement Details Revealed

Game publisher 505 Games recently shared the official details of the new gen enhancements of video game Control Ultimate Edition.

    Control

On the support page of the game publisher, the details were shared for the Ultimate Edition on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S enhancements. Check it out here:

    • Performance Mode – Targets 60fps performance with 1440p render resolution and 4K output
    • Graphics Mode – Targets 30fps performance with ray tracing (transparency and reflections) at 1220p render resolution and 4K output
      • NOTE: Only the Performance mode is available on Xbox Series S. It is targeting 60fps with no ray tracing, at 900p render resolution, and 1080p output. This is a limitation of the hardware, not the game.
    • PS5 DualSense Support – Support for vibrations and triggers.
    • PS5 Activities and Help – Cards and videos that help guide you through the game, and keep track of your progress.

The game will have two modes, which are performance and graphics modes. These modes are pretty much common now on new gen versions of games. Performance will offer 60fps with 1440p render resolution and 4K output while Graphics mode will offer lower frame rates, but it will have ray tracing. Xbox Series S, however, will only have Performance mode.

The PS5 version will also have unique features like the DualSense support, activities, and help.

Control Ultimate Edition is now available on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
