CD Projekt RED is planning to release a Cyberpunk 2077 Game of the Year Edition next year.
According to Polish media outlet Stockwatch via VGC, President and joint CEO Adam Kiciński has revealed of their plans to release a Cyberpunk 2077 Game of the Year Edition. This will be released after the official launch of the game’s only expansion, Phantom Lady.
“This is the natural order of things,” Kiciński said. “It was the same with The Witcher, which after both add-ons was finally released as a Game of the Year Edition and has been on the market in this way ever since. The same can be expected in this case.”
Aside from the new edition, the CEO has not shared any other additions for the GOTY Edition. There could be additions, but they could be announced at a later time.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Phantom Liberty launches within next year.
