    Legendary weapons in Dead Island 2 are the piece de resistance when it comes to putting down zombies for good. After all, this is an RPG game, and the best weapons in the game have the best perks and stats to make it a breeze to bring down any horde. Zombie slayers from all around should be excited to get their hands on these legendary weapons from Dead Island 2.

    How to Get

    Bodycount

    A legendary assault rifle that converts attacks to inflict BLEED DAMAGE and gives a major damage boost. Successive hits to a zombie applies the BLEEDING effect. Rapid shots trigger critical hits and give you a small accuracy boost which can stack.

    Complete Cremains of the Day side quest and then defeat Lieutenant Ford in Venice Beach to obtain the REDACTED side quest. Complete the side quest to obtain Bodycount.

    Party Starter

    A legendary knuckle duster that converts attacks to inflict FIRE DAMAGE and gives a major damage boost. Successive hits to a zombie applies the IGNITED effect.

    Take the Dudes Who Chug note from the washroom on the first floor of the Lotusville Hotel. Complete the Drunk and Disorderly side mission to get the Party Starter.

    Blood Rage

    A legendary knife that converts attacks to inflict BLEED DAMAGE and gives a major damage boost. Successive hits to a zombie applies the BLEEDING effect. Heavy attacks boost agility and will not slow even when charging.

    Complete the Blood Drive quest and fast travel to the Lifeguard Quarters in Santa Monica. Defeat the Crusher zombie outside named Dante and pick up the letter that starts the Fool’s Gold side quest. Finish this quest to get the Blood Rage.

    Krakatoa

    A legendary axe that converts attacks to inflict FIRE DAMAGE and gives a major damage boost. Successive hits to a zombie applies the IGNITED effect. Maiming restores stamina and and limbs grant criticalt hits.

    Complete Lost & Found Steve side quest which can be started at the Lotusville Hotel.

    The One

    A legendary sword that gives major PHYSICAL DAMAGE and FORCE boosts. Successive hits to a zombie applies the WEAKENED effect. Hitting weakened zombies and maiming restores stamina.

    Complete The Terror of Sound Stage 7 side quest and take the Beacon of Hope side quest from Sebastian in Hollywood Boulevard. Complete the quest to get The One.

    Big Shot

    A legendary pistol that gives major PHYSICAL DAMAGE and FORCE boosts. Successive hits to a zombie applies the TRAUMITIZED effect. Hitting a traumatized or vulnerable regular zombie sends it flying damaging anything it hits.

    Talk to Luciana in Belle’s Mansion and she’ll give you the It’s Not Your Fault side quest. Complete this side quest to get Big Shot.

    Brutalizer

    A legendary machete that gives major PHYSICAL DAMAGE and FORCE boosts. Successive hits to a zombie applies the WEAKENED effect. Hitting weakened zombies and maiming restores stamina.

    Complete The Giant Slayer story quest and start the Body Art: Unveiling quest from Francesca in Beverly Hills. Finish this quest to get the Brutalizer.

    Emma’s Wrath

    A legendary sledgehammer that gives major PHYSICAL DAMAGE and FORCE boosts. Successive hits to a zombie applies the TRAUMITIZED effect. Hitting a traumatized or vulnerable regular zombie sends it flying damaging anything it hits.

    Complete the Hollywood Ending main story quest.

    Dead Island 2 allows you to explore and get powerful weapons on your own, but you can get legendary ones if you complete certain quests that usually aren’t tied to the main story of the game. These weapons are better than most of the ones you’ll find because they take the extra mile to work for.

    More legendary weapons could be introduced to Dead Island 2 as future updates are released. These are all of them for now, along with how you can get them. We’ll be sure to continue updating this guide if Deep Silver adds more.
