From Zero is one of the earliest side quests you can do in Destiny 2: Lightfall. It is one of the requirements for you to get randomized rolls of the Iterative Loop Fusion Rifle. The quest calls for several objectives, and if you’re wondering how to complete it, read on for a full walkthrough.

To start the From Zero quest, you need to talk to Nimbus and they’ll give you the quest right away. It’s a four-step quest that you can do in less than an hour.

Here are the quest steps and what you should watch out for:

    • Step 1 – Retrieve supply caches from Region chests in Neomuna. There are three areas in Neomuna, and each of the areas has three region chests within them. Simply choose any three and open them.
    • Step 2 – Work with the Neomuni people to defend the city by completing patrols and public events and bolster their supplies by gathering resource nodes and chests. This part is going to take a while. This will require you to do patrols, public events, gathering resource nodes, and open chests. Doing all these things will count toward progression. Just keep doing them until the requirement is met. Here’s a tip, you can take part in public events while having an active patrol. It’s like knocking out two birds with one stone.
    • Step 3 – Travel to Esi Terminal and defeat Shadow Legionary Trask. Trask will appear as a Cabal Colossus. Nothing special there but you may still want to be careful around the boss. You can add a waypoint on the map screen and you can follow it to the boss’ location.
    • Step 4 – Return to Nimbus. Report back to Numbus and they’ll give you the Iterative Loop. Now, this gun will appear as a random loot drop on Neomuna.

The reward you’ll get for completing the From Zero Quest in Destiny 2 is the Iterative Loop legendary Arc energy fusion rifle. However, this weapon’s limited range can be problematic. Nevertheless, Elemental Capacitor will provide a good boost to stability if you’re using Void, allowing you to invest in range enhancements like Projection Fuse, Range Masterwork, and Smallbore.

And that’s all there is to the From Zero Quest Destiny 2 Lightfall. Hope this helps you out, Guardians.
