Bungie has recently released the new Destiny 2 Lightfall trailer which showcases the various weapons and armor coming in Year 6.
Just ahead of the upcoming ninth weekly reset in Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph, the upcoming weapons and armor pieces for Lightfall were finally revealed by Bungie. The new trailer that got released today showcased the new element called Strand.
In the Destiny 2 Lightfall trailer, players will be able to use Exotic weapons that have the Strand element together with new gear pieces for all three classes. There are no specific details yet, but these three pieces of new gear could be tied in together with the Legendary campaign reward pool, just like with The Witch Queen.
The trailer showcases about seven items (weapons and gear pieces combined) in the trailer. Check out their names and functions below:
- Final Warning Sidearm – Charged Tracking Rounds
- Deterministic Chaos Machine Gun – Rhythmic Debuffs; 4 shot weakens enemies, 16th shot makes enemies volatile.
- Cyrtarachne’s Façade Exotic Hunter Helmet – Grapple gives woven mail; Flinch resistance from woven mail
- Abeyant Leap Exotic Titan Leg Armor – Barricade spawns additional lashes.
- Quicksilver Storm Exotic Catalyst – Grenades create tangles on kills.
- Swarmers Exotic Warlock Leg Armor – Destroying tangles spawns threadlings.
- Winterbite Exotic Stasis Glaive – Freeze enemies with frost orb.
It is expected that more weapons and gear pieces will be announced later.
Destiny 2 is now available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5.
