Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph Seasonal Weapons Featured Image

Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph is here and with comes a whole host of new seasonal weapons we can grind for. For this season, the Seraphic Weapon line has been approved for use for Seraph Agents. But that’s not all, the IKELOS Weapon line of weapons is also featured as well. This improved line now has the Rasputin’s Arsenal Origin Trait, which we’ll get to in a bit.

In this list, we’ll go over the newly added seasonal weapons that have come with Season of the Seraph. We’ll talk about their individual frames, their traits, and other interesting stats.

Note: This list will not include new weapons from the new dungeon and world drops. They will get their own articles if need be. This article focuses on the weapons Clovis Bray offers you in the H.E.L.M.

Our future articles will focus on the best trait combinations for each of the craftable versions of the weapons. So, stay tuned for that.

Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph Seasonal Weapons

There are two weapon lines added to the Season of the Seraph – the IKELOS and the Seraphic weapons. The IKELOS line is a familiar sight to anyone that’s participated in Dares of Eternity. (Xur’s rotating stock count but only occasionally)

IKELOS Weapons

IKELOS weapons now have the Rasputin’s Arsenal Origin Trait: Breaking a target’s shield partially reloads this weapon’s magazine. Which is great for modes that have match-type shields. But kinda ok against enemies that have A shield.

Some weapons have the new Offhand Strike which is an interesting trait where final blows grant additional weapon range, stability, and accuracy when firing from the hip for a short duration.

This line can have Seraph Rounds in the 2nd column. These rounds over-penetrate targets and bounce off hard surfaces. They also slightly increase range and stability.

Also, some weapons can have Cascade Point which states that Final blows or sustained precision hits with another weapon increase this weapon’s rate of fire fora short duration.

Lastly, there’s the Shot Swap trait which states that Final blows build and store charges which allow you to swap and stow this weapon at a faster rate.

IKELOS_HC_V1.0.3

A mainstay in Xur’s rotating store, the IKELOS_HC_V1.0.3 is an interesting weapon because it is a 180 RPM precision frame void hand cannon. You don’t see guns like that ever getting added to Destiny 2. That archetype of hand cannon has mostly been replaced with 120 and 140 hand cannons. The rose is a close enough addition but the version we’re getting in Competitive is a 140 that handles like a light-frame weapon.

The downside of this Hand Cannon is its short effective range. On the bright side, it can with Seraph Rounds and the new Offhand Strike trait.

The following are the Traits that can appear on both the 3rd and 4th columns.

3rd column traits

  • Offhand Strike
  • Subsistence
  • Air Assault

  • One For All

IKELOS_SG_V1.0.3

The IKELOS_SR_V1.0.3 is a rapid-fire solar shotgun that most people don’t see anymore outside of Xur’s store. The most interesting thing about this gun is that it can have Incandescent and Cascade Point.

Seraphic Weapons

The new Seraphic Weapons have the new Ambush Origin Trait: Improves range, handling, and damage against combatants during the opening moments of an engagement. Think of Opening Shot but as an Origin Trait. This line is probably going to see plenty of use in the Crucible. Additionally, some guns have the option to utilize the Veist Stinger and Hakke Breach Armaments Origin Trait as the other option.

This line can come with the new Perfect Float trait which states that being in combat for a moderate time increases airborne effectiveness and reduces flinch until you are out of combat.

The machine gun in particular can get the new Target Lock trait that states that damage increases the longer this weapon remains on a target. This can come in handy against bosses.

Fire and Forget Linear Fusion Rifle

The new Fire and Forget is an aggressive frame stasis linear fusion rifle that comes with the Perfect Float trait. If you like pulling off trick shots, you may want to pay attention to this one. In the same column, it can come with Headstone. This is going to be great for Stasis builds.

The following are the Traits that can appear on both the 3rd and 4th columns.

Tripwire Canary Combat Bow

The Tripwire Canary is a lightweight frame arc combat bow which makes it a deadly choice for the mobile Guardian. This bow can come with Explosive Head and Opening Shot in the 4th column. In the third column, it can come with both Shot Swap and Perfect Float, which could be worth experimenting with. And as a bow, it can come with the Successful Warm-Up trait.

Disparity Pulse Rifle

The Disparity is an aggressive burst stasis pulse rifle that can have Headstone and Desperado in the fourth column. For a pulse rifle, either of those options is just so good.

The following are the Traits that can appear on both the 3rd and 4th columns.

3rd column traits

  • Moving Target
  • Heating Up
  • Outlaw
  • No Distractions
  • Rapid Hit
  • Eye of the Storm
  • Pugilist

4th column traits

  • Headstone
  • One For All
  • Swashbuckler

Path of Least Resistance Trance Rifle

The Path of Least Resistance adaptive frame arc trace rifle can have Tap the Trigger and Voltshot trait in the fourth column. This is the closest thing to an arc version of Retraced Path with Incandescent.

The following are the Traits that can appear on both the 3rd and 4th columns.

  • Shoot to Loot
  • Dynamic Sway Reduction

  • Harmony
  • Gutshot Straight
  • Focused Fury
  • Voltshot
  • Dragonfly
  • One For All

Judgment of Kelgorath Glaive

The Judgment of Kelgorath is an aggressive solar glaive that is a welcome addition to the game’s current tiny selection of glaives. Though I did mistake it for a Sword in the trailer. This weapon can come with Incandescent and Close to Melee in the fourth column.

The following are the Traits that can appear on both the 3rd and 4th columns.

3rd column traits

  • Genesis
  • Shot Swap
