Strider is one of the quests under the Season of Defiance in Destiny 2. A Vex tunneling operation has been uncovered by the Shadow Legion and it’s up to the Guardians to take advantage of their warring to find out where the Vex are conducting their operation.

Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to complete the Strider quest in Destiny 2.

How to unlock the Strider Quest

To unlock the Strider quest, you must first complete the Bluejay quest. Check out our Destiny 2 Maelstrom Quest Guide on some tips on how to complete it.

How to complete the Strider Quest

To unlock the Strider quest, you must first complete the Bluejay quest. Check out our Destiny 2 Bluejay Quest Guide on some tips on how to complete it.

    Strider Step 1

Visit the archivist, Quinn Laghari in the Hall of Heroes to accept the quest.

    Strider Step 2

For the second step, you will need to spend keys on a Terminal Overload Key Chest in each of the three main Neomuna zones:

    • Ahimsa Park
    • Zephyr Concourse
    • Liming Harbor

The public events in Neomuna cycle daily in only one of the three locations. So in order to complete this step, you will need to join these events for three days.

    Strider Step 3

For the third step, you will need defeat Shadow Legion forces in Neomuna to find location data, then complete the Ahimsa Park Lost Sector to get a data cipher. You can simply head over to the Ahimsa Park Lost Sector directly as the Shadow Legion forces that you’ll be facing there will count towards the objective.

    Strider Step 4

After completing the previous step, head back to the Hall of Heroes and talk to Quinn.

    Strider Step 5

For the next step, repair The Strider’s memorial in the Hall of Heroes.

    Strider Step 6

Next, you will need to travel to Maya’s Retreat at the southeast region. In there, you will have to destroy the Hydras and shut down the confluxes. This activity simply will have you defeat the Hydras, then interact with the Vex network where you can shut down the confluxes. Rinse and repeat until all of the confluxes have been shut down.

    Strider Step 7

Head back over to Quinn at the Hall of Heroes to report the progress and complete the quest.

As part of the quest rewards, you will also be getting the Winterbite Exotic Glaive.
