How to complete the Bluejay Quest
The Bluejay quest has five steps, with each step having one or more objectives.
Bluejay Step 1
For the first step, go to the Striders’ Gate to meet up with Nimbus.
Bluejay Step 2
For the second step, you will need to obtain the Polymorphic Engine. Complete any public event or patrols in the Vex Incursion Zone and you’ll be able to obtain a Polymorphic Engine once you open a Terminal Overload Key Chest after completing the event.
While doing these activities, make sure to equip a Strand class in order to obtain Shellcode Fragments that are dropped by defeating enemies in the Vex Incursion Zone. You will need eight of these fragments to complete the objective.
Bluejay Step 3
For the third step, you will need to complete the Partition: Hard Reset activity. Head over to Liming Harbor where you’ll find the activity marker.
The first part of this mission is to defuse the bomb. You will only have 2 minutes to finish the course. Every time you reach a leg of the course, you will get a time extension. There will be plenty of enemies in the way which can hinder your progress. There are three bombs that you need to detonate in total.
After the third bomb has been detonated, you will then have to stop the Demolitionist. You will then have to fight Vraxus who is not a very mobile boss, but it can spawn ads that hunt you down. Once one third of is HP is gone, you will have to defuse a bomb that is located at a far end of a course. Defuse the bomb then jump on the portal to return to the main arena. This will repeat once more once the boss is on its final third health.
Once the boss has been defeated, you can then claim a chest that contains gear from this season and then you can exit the activity.
Bluejay Step 4
For the fourth step, head back to the Hall of Heroes to repair Bluejay’s memorial.
Bluejay Step 5
Return to Quinn Laghari to report your progress and complete the quest.
After completing the quest, you will then receive a weapon from this season’s loot pool.
