Detroit: Become Human, Quantic Dream’s next interactive action game, is said to run at higher frame rates on the PlayStation 4 Pro.

When Guillaume de Fondaumière, the co-CEO of Quantic Dream, was asked about the extra feature or add-ons when played on a PS4 Pro during a group interview at a media event for Detroit: Become Human in the Philippines, he said “you’re going to have better graphics. In particular, better lighting.” He continued that the experience is going to be “more fluid” and that players will get “between 30 and 60 frames per second.”

“The PlayStation 4 Pro version is going to come with 4K HDR. It’s going to make your 4K TV shine, I hope. Other than that, you’re going to have better graphics, in particular, better lighting.

The experience is… there are times that is going to be a little more fluid so you’ll have between 30 and 60 frames per second. Whatever extra graphical power or what else we’re given, we use.” said Guillaume de Fondaumière.

According to Leif Bornales in his hands-on impression of the first 3-4 hours of Detroit: Become Human, he mentioned that players will get invested in the characters and the game is nicely paced.

Detroit: Become Human is launching next month on May 25 exclusively on the PS4, a demo of the game is also available on PlayStation Store. In other news, Beyond: Two Souls, one of Quantic Dream’s interactive games is going to be free for PlayStation Plus subscribers in May, and currently, Heavy Rain is free for PlayStation Plus subscribers this month in April.
