Forgotten Memories: Nurturing is the Fourth quest that you’ll have to take on as part of The Fairy Godmother’s series of story quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This continues your journey to finding The Forgotten’s memory of Nurturing, which is needed to power up the Orb of Remembrance in Dreamscape.
The quest will take place on the Sunlit Plateau, and the objectives are pretty straightforward, which include destroying a lot of things in the biome. Read ahead for a full walkthrough of the Fairy Godmother’s Forgotten Memories: Nurturing Story quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Forgotten Memories Nurturing Walkthrough
Like in the previous quest, talk to the Fairy Godmother to open up the gateway where you can uncover the Forgotten’s lost memory of nurturing.
After passing through the gateway, go and talk to Scar, who is standing just in front of the pillar.
Crush Orange Flowers
Following the conversation with Scar, you’ll be tasked with crushing 8 flowers with orange petals around the biome. Simply go near it and press Remove; it’s pretty hard to miss since it’s glittering and huge. Once done, return and talk to Scar for your next objective.
Plant Night Thorn Seeds
Next, Scar will give you 25 Night Thorn Seeds, and all you need to do is plant 5 of each near 3 different locations. For those who don’t know the basics yet, simply pull out your shovel, dig five holes, and then plant the seed. Water the thorns afterwards for them to grow and count towards your progress.
Here are the exact locations of where to plant the Night Thorn Seeds in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Forgotten Memories Nurturing Quest:
- The Giant Dreamlight Tree can be found near the gateway portal. It’s the only huge tree in the middle with hanging vines, so don’t get confused.
- Facing the Giant Dreamlight Tree, the Pillar of Nurturing is by the river trail to the left, opposite to the Mine Entrance and Waterfall.
- Facing the Giant Dreamlight Tree, the Mine Entrance and Waterfall is by the river trail to the right, opposite to the Pillar of Nurturing.
After planting 15 Night Thorn Seeds, recover the Orb of Nurturing that dropped in front of the Pillar, then return to Scar near his cave for a brief conversation and a cutscene. Once that’s done, go and talk to Merlin for some advice, and you’ll be sent back to Dreamscape afterwards.
Collect the Memory of Nurturing from the pedestal and talk to the Fairy Godmother to complete the Forgotten Memories: Nurturing Story Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
