Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Remembered Quest Guide

The Remembered will be the penultimate quest that players will have to complete as part of Merlin’s story questline, added along with The Remembering Update in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This quest will take you through the aftermath of your magical powers colliding with the Forgotten, and you may even be able to relive some pleasant moments from the past.

The objectives are pretty straightforward, follow the light and interact. Dialogue options don’t have any bearing on the story’s progression as well. Read ahead for a full walkthrough of The Remembered quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Start The Remembered Quest

The Remembered will automatically start once you complete The Dark Castle Quest, immediately after the cutscene where you and the Forgotten clash magical powers. The quest will take place in another dimension, and your main objective is to follow the light.

How to Complete The Remembered Quest

The “The Remembered” quest has the following list of objectives:

    • Walk towards the light
    • Talk to the Forgotten near the sandbox
    • Focus your magic on the sandbox
    • Talk to the Forgotten about what happened
    • Meet the Forgotten at the next light
    • Talk to the Forgotten
    • Focus your magic on the bed
    • Talk to the Forgotten about what you’ve uncovered
    • Meet the Forgotten at the next light
    • Talk to the Forgotten
    • Focus your magic on the desk
    • Talk to the Forgotten about what you’ve uncovered
    • Meet the Forgotten at the next light
    • Talk to the Forgotten
    • Focus your magic on the bookshelf
    • Talk to the Forgotten

At the start of the quest, you’ll find yourself in a dark place. Find and walk towards the light and have a conversation with the Forgotten.

The following objectives will all be about reliving your memories of the past by focusing your magic on objects that connect with all four Forgotten Relics. Look around for Light Spots with a Sandbox, a Bed, a Desk, and a Bookshelf. Repeat all the same steps for all areas.

Once that’s done, have a conversation with the Forgotten to play a cutscene where both of you will come back to the Valley and stop the spell together. After that, you and the Forgotten join the rest of the characters in the Valley as you return through the portal. This completes The Remembered quest and rolls the end credits, along with a brief cutscene at the end, which is probably a revelation for the next story arc of Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The Remembered: Unable to Focus your Magic on Bed Fix

For some reason, the “Focus your magic on the bed” prompt isn’t showing up for some players during The Remembered quest. It seems like the space to interact with the bed is smaller than it’s supposed to, and if you’re having this problem, you won’t be able to move on in the story.

Best Solution to Focus Your Magic on the Bed

In order to Focus your Magic on Bed, simply move the Forgotten away from somewhere else; this way the prompt will show up. This is so far the best working option that we could try, instead of getting on all fours and trying to interact with the bed from all directions.

This is a rather small glitch that will likely be addressed in an upcoming patch, so there’s no need to worry about getting stuck on this quest.
