The Sundial is the second quest to unlock Rapunzel in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Rapunzel finds a sundial, but it requires new parts to work again. Read ahead as we go through the objectives on how to complete The Sundial quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Objectives:
Investigate the second Sun Core near the Sundial
Go to the sundial to get a better look at the Sun Core.
Catch the Floating Sun Core on the Sundial Island
Chase after the Sun Core as it flies around the sundial and try to capture it. After capturing the Sun Core, go to the sun structure and place the core inside it.
Talk to Rapunzel
Rapunzel notices that the sundial moved a little. You then surmise that the sundial is still missing a few parts for it to work properly. Rapunzel mentions that she has seen golden gears around the isle that could be used to fixed the sundial.
Search the Isle for Floating Sundial Gears
Go around the island and look for 10 Floating Sundial Gears. Once you find one, it will will fly away from you and you will need to run after it to catch it. Players have reported that they have encountered difficulties finding the last few gears. If that happens, relaunching the game can help make the gears appear.
Show all the Sundial Gears to Rapunzel
Give all of the sundials that you have collected to Rapunzel. She will then put them on to the sundial to fix it.
Investigate the Sundial
Investigate the central part of the sundial. This will make the outer ring of the dial rotate, revealing a bridge that you can use to cross a floating island.
Reach the Statue of Time with Rapunzel
Cross the bridge to reach the island where the Statue of Time is at. However, this statue is missing the Jewel of Time.
Investigate the diary page near the Statue of Time
Look for the note nearby which hints that Mother Gothel may know something about the missing jewel.
