    Popular Dolphin Emulator Official Coming to Steam

    The Nintendo GameCube and Wii emulator called Dolphin Emulator is finally getting an official Steam release in the coming months.

    The Dolphin emulator was first spotted online in 2003 (20 years already!) and has since received continuous updates. Many fans have since flocked behind this awesome emulator and not once has it asked to purchase the emulator as it was open to download to everyone. Now, it has now become an official program that can now be wishlisted on Steam.

    Dolphin, a GameCube and Wii emulator, is coming to Steam!

    Developer OatmealDome shared the happy news on Twitter today and has also revealed their plans. “We’ll release in Early Access during Q2 2023 (Apr to Jun). More info will be provided closer to launch.”

    The developer also revealed some good news for the fans. The emulator is supported by the Steam Deck, which will let users play Wii and GameCube games on the PC handheld.

    Dophin Emulator can play GameCube and Wii games with various enhancements applied. It can increase resolution, frame rate, widescreen support, HD textures, netplay, and quick save states.
