Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition Demo Now Available

Game company Square Enix officially announced that video game Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition playable demo is now available to download.

The downloadable demo can now be redeemed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. It will offer 10 hours of content from the opening of the game. It will let players take on the role of the Luminary, a young man who discovers a destiny that will change his life forever.

The demo will offer what the Definitive Edition will have like new features and quality of life improvements. These improvements are the ability to speed up battles, Japanese and English audio, a symphonic soundtrack and a photo mode to capture great vistas as players roam the world.

This demo’s content only features a small part of the game. The complete version offers new character stories, an improved crafting system and the option to play the whole game in 2D like the classic Dragon Quest game. The progress of the demo will be carried over to the full version when it releases this coming December 4.

An added bonus for players who complete the demo will be included during the save transfer. They will get three Seed of Skill, which will give them an extra skill point when consumed. It can be used either in the demo or when they continue their save progress in the full game.
