Dragon’s Dogma 2: How to get Eldricite

In Dragon’s Dogma 2 Eldricite is a material that is used for upgrading certain gear and equipment. Eldricite is a material that is quite uncommon and it can only be obtained from hunting high level enemies in the latter part of the game. Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to obtain Eldricite in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

How to get Eldricite in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

Eldricite can be obtained from killing Specters that appear only within the Unmoored World, also known as the true endgame. These Specters are similar to Phantasms, but they glow purple instead. Search areas formerly covered by water like dried-up riverbeds and oceans. To help in finding Eldricite, have a pawn in your party that has the Forager specialization and look for marked materials on the map that say Eldricite.

Specters can also be found around Bakbattahl and around the Seafloor Shrine in the following areas:

    • Misty Marshes: Found Northeast of Checkpoint Rest Town.
    • Seafloor Shrine (Dried-Up Shore): Explore the dried-up areas around the Seafloor Shrine.
    • Route to Vernworth: Travel east and south from Harve Village towards the red beacon near Vernworth. You’ll encounter several specters along the way.

Occasionally, you’ll also find Eldricite in wall mining nodes and bone piles. Be sure to check these resources whenever you see them.

Where to get Eldricite in Dragon's Dogma 2: Specter spawn locations in Unmoored World

Before looking for Eldricite, it is recommended to complete all but the final red beacon in the Unmoored World to prevent the fog from progressing. This way, you can take as much time as you can in hunting down these Specters especially that Eldricite has a fairly low drop rate and the Specter spawn areas are sparse.

How to farm Eldricite and get more?

Eldricite is a rare drop, so be prepared to farm for a while. Specters are more likely to appear at night, so hunting during the night hours can improve your chances of finding Eldricite. In the Unmoored World, sleeping is limited even if you finish quests and close red beacons. Be strategic with sleeping, as it affects spawns.

Additionally, Eldricite is something that can be duplicated through forgery, so once you have at least one of them, you can have it forged to get copies for 1,400G at the Dragon Forge in Bay Wayside Shrine. It will take about two in-game days for them to create a copy, giving you an additional piece for equipment enhancements.
