Dumb Ways to Build has released its free Update 3.0, introducing Beach Breach, a new Crisis Job that takes players to a dangerous coastal construction site filled with sharks, sea mines, and other hazards.
The update expands the game’s chaotic building challenges with new materials, environmental obstacles, and 15 cosmetic items. It also introduces a tougher Master Builder variant for players looking for an additional challenge.
Beach Breach Brings Construction Chaos to the Coast
The new Beach Breach Crisis Job tasks players with constructing a path toward an offshore oil rig before using their crane skills to plug oil leaks and help save the surrounding ocean.
Getting there won’t be straightforward. Players must work with new building materials, some of which are explosive, while accounting for structures that may not remain afloat indefinitely.
The coastal environment introduces several hazards capable of disrupting construction efforts, including sharks, crabs, seagulls, waves, sea mines, and oil slicks.
Keeping the Beans coordinated will be just as important as building a stable path, especially when unexpected obstacles threaten to send the crew into shark-infested waters.
Master Builder Mode Introduces Nailnose
Players seeking a more difficult challenge can tackle the Beach Breach Master Builder variant.
This version takes place in polluted waters filled with shipwrecks and sea mines, making the journey toward the oil rig even more dangerous.
The biggest threat is Nailnose, a giant underwater predator that lurks beneath the surface.
Players will need to navigate the hazards, manage their construction materials, and complete the job while avoiding the creature.
Update 3.0 Adds 15 New Cosmetics
Alongside the new Crisis Job, Update 3.0 introduces 15 cosmetic items for players to customize their Beans.
Several cosmetics are available to equip immediately, while the remaining items can be unlocked by completing new Beach Breach Certifications.
The new customization options include Mermaid Ears, Flippers, and a Bucket Hat, giving players additional ways to personalize their construction crews.
