According to SuperData’s monthly digital games revenue report, popular online multiplayer video game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout debuted as the top-earning PC game in terms of digital revenue for August 2020.
The report revealed that the game earned up to $185 million in revenue just in the month of August. It also gained 8.2 users and paid for that PC version. This makes it the highest-earning digital launch of any PC title since Overwatch in May 2016.
Horizon Zero Dawn sold 716,000 copies on PC during its release month and that is more than the PC edition of another PlayStation 4 game Death Standing, which only sold 477,000 copies during its launch in July 2020.
Premium sports game Madden NFL 21 sold 570K digital copies during August 2020 after its release at the very end of the month. Surprisingly PGA Tour 2K21 sold 580K digital copies during its release month.
