Fallout 76 Free to Play for a Whole Week

Game company Bethesda has announced that online multiplayer video game Fallout 76 will be free to play for a week.

Starting today until October 26, players will be able to play the game for free to celebrate Bombs Drop Day. The game company celebrates that special day on October 23 since it is the day when the bombs dropped on US soil in the game lore. It will include base game experience plus Wastelanders and Nuclear Winter.

Players will be able to enjoy all of the new features like the One Wasteland Update with enemy level rebalancing. This allows them to play with anyone, anywhere in the wasteland. There is also the brand-new Daily ops system, which rewards them by just playing and completing challenges.

For interested players who want to purchase the game when Free Play Week is over, they can carry over their progress. They can also get all of the available content bundles and the base game on sale. Xbox players must have Xbox Gold in order to play during free trial.

Aside from Free Play Week, players will be able to enjoy in-game events that will start today until October 26. They can get Double S.C.O.R.E. and Double XP during the week of celebration and get 25 percent off Legendary weapons and armor from Purveyor Murmrgh at the Rusty Pick.

There is also a free sample of the Fallout 1st membership. Players can claim it by just logging in between October 20 and October 26 and find the free Fallout 1st Limited Preview “item” in the Atomic Shop. With it they can gain access to some of the features offered with the membership.

This trial will allow players to use the Scrapbox and Survival Tent. It will be similar to the full Fallout 1st members where they can use the Scrapbox that offers them unlimited storage for crafting components. The Survival Tent will operate as placeable fast travel pint with a Stash, Sleeping Bag, Scrapbox, Instrument, and Cooking Station.

Players must gain access to both of these futures until the preview ends on October 26. Once it ends, the items inside the Scrapbox will remain, but they will not be able to add anything new.

Getting the preview from the Atomic Shop also lands players some goodies that the Fallout 1st members have access to. There are this month’s free in-game items like the Mechanic’s Wallpaper, and Mechanic’s Floor and Foundation.
