Ubisoft just announced that video game Far Cry 5 will be free to play on Uplay PC this coming weekend.
This will be the best time to catch up to the main story and give it a try for a few days. It will be available starting on May 29 until 31. Uplay subscribers can gain full access to the base game’s content for the duration of the free weekend. They can even play the co-op mode with any other Far Cry 5 owner.
The best part of this news is that new players can pre-load the game right now on Uplay PC. To celebrate the free weekend, all Far Cry games’ PC Standard and Gold Edition will get up to 75 percent discounts until June 2 on the Ubisoft Store. Those who play Far Cry 5 this weekend can get their progress carried over when they buy the game for good. Check here to register and start pre-loading the game.
About:
Set in America, Far Cry 5 offers players total freedom to navigate a serene-looking yet deeply twisted world as the new junior deputy of fictional Hope County, Montana. Players will find that their arrival accelerates a years-long silent coup by a fanatical doomsday cult, the Project at Eden’s Gate, igniting a violent takeover of the county. Under siege and cut off from the rest of the world, players will join forces with residents of Hope County and form the Resistance.
