Square Enix has officially announced that Final Fantasy XVI has now gone gold.
The good news was recently revealed on the official English and Japanese Twitter accounts of the game. This means that the development team is now done with the game and can be played from start to finish. It is now ready to print physical copies and ready to ship worldwide.
The Twitter post features an image with the developers holding the cute Torgal plush as both puppy and adult forms. These were the same ones that were seen at PAX East 2023 panel. Unfortunately, Square Enix has not announced if these will be sold to the public.
The game is now ready and the launch is imminent. The developers have also confirmed that there will be a playable demo which will be available two weeks ahead of the official release date.
Final Fantasy XVI launches on June 22, 0223 exclusively for PS5.
