Nike teased an upcoming Fortnite collaboration that will reportedly offer special rewards to members of its new NFT platform .Swoosh.

On the official Twitter account of Nike, the caption on the post said “On 6.20 the ultimate Sneakerhunt begins.” This new event will launch on June 20, 2023 and promises to deliver the ultimate sneakerhunt. No other details have been revealed yet on the side of Nike, but others already have some juicy info.
Airphoria
Fortnite leaker HYPEX claims that the collaboration will be called “Airphoria” and will feature Nike-designed skins, cosmetics, and special rewards for .Swoosh members. The leaker claims they got their info from Nike’s creative director.
It was also revealed that the event will feature an “immersive, and first-of-it’s-kind Air Max themed experience.” This will be made by Nike in Unreal Editor for Fortnite.
Way back in November 2022, .Swoosh was launched in closed beta. It is described as “a web3-enabled platform that champions athletes and serves the future of sport by creating a new, inclusive digital community and experience and a home for Nike virtual creations.”
While NFTs have a bad reputation online, Nike’s sneaker collection that got released in May 2023 got big sales. It surpassed $1 million in sales.
