If Geralt uses steel for humans and silver for monsters, then I wonder which sword he’s going to use to fight in Soul Calibur VI.
You heard right. Geralt of Rivia, The White Wolf, is coming to Soul Calibur VI as a guest fighter. The Butcher of Blaviken makes quite the impression on fans for his reveal trailer that was just released today.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise for those who have been keeping up with talk online. Marcin Momot, Community Lead for CD Projekt Red, tweeted out a few days ago about this possibility. Ever since then, it has gotten fans talking.

And fans were talking for good reason. It seems that everyone’s suspicions were right and that this wasn’t just a joke on the Community Lead’s part. We will get the chance to play as Geralt on Soul Calibur VI which many have already predicted when the tweet came out.
From the trailer, it seems that Geralt will be utilizing most of everything we see from Witcher 3; His sword skills and Signs are all there and some of the obvious exceptions being the use of alchemy for decoctions and bombs. It also seems that the Witcher’s distaste for portals are well founded, as it is the main reason he managed to find his way to the Soul Calibur verse.
Soul Calibur VI will be available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
