Game publisher 505 Games and developers One More Level, 3D Realms, and Slipgate Ironworks have announced the release of the free and paid downloadable contents of video game Ghostrunner.
The free and paid DLCs are now available to download today for the game. The free game mode offers the Kill Run Mode, which offers players a different kind of parkour action. They will be running around the sections in Dharma Tower and killing the enemies will add seconds to the timer. The shortest recorded time will be added to the leaderboards. They can also capture some screenshots in Photo Mode.
The paid content includes the Metal Ox Pack, which celebrates the Year of the Ox. It will offer four new swords and gloves modeled after the Confucian principles and virtues of benevolence, justice, rite, and integrity. Players can buy this pack for only $4.99 as a standalone. There is also the Keymaster Bundle on Steam, which includes the main game, the Winter Pack, and the Metal Ox Pack with a 10 percent discount.
There will be ongoing support for the game with free quality-of-life improvements. The console will add aim assist for the grappling hook, an adjustable field-of-view slider, and the framerate-boosting Performance Mode on PS4 Pro.
The PC version will have the Nvidia Reflex support, which will reduce the system latency. It will be offered to supported graphics cards though.
Aside from the DLCs, there will be a physical edition of the game for the Nintendo Switch version. It will be released on June 25 in Europe and June 29 in the US. It will include all of the updates since its launch last year in its digital state with the performance and stability improvements, upgraded visuals, and control tweaks.
Ghostrunner is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S later this year with free upgrades for the old-gen versions.
